Jazlyn Coles is a first-generation college student and business professional whose journey reflects resilience, excellence, and purpose. Since beginning her higher education at the age of 15, she earned her Associate of Arts in Communication from Oakland Community College, graduating Magna Cum Laude, before transferring to Central Michigan University, where she completed a Bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship with a minor in Management. Driven by a passion for poetry, creativity, and public speaking, Jazlyn Coles integrates her gifts and faith to encourage others to boldly and authentically pursue their purpose and live in their legacy. Her written and spoken works have been featured in Oakland County Times Newspaper, CMU Life, Vicksburg Daily News, and additional platforms within the local Detroit area and beyond, recognizing her positive impact . As she is currently in pursuit of her Master’s of Arts degree at Central Michigan University in the College of Communication, while teaching speech, she is conducting research on how intercultural leaders can be more inclusive and progressive in entrepreneurial spaces by studying the barriers across African and Indian cultures as they transition to the US workforce. Beyond academia, she is the CEO of Living In Legacy LLC., a platform dedicated to empowering individuals, organizations, and communities to pursue their purpose with intentionality and courage. With her background as an entrepreneur, public speaker, and spoken word artist, Jazlyn Coles continues to build innovative avenues for leadership, advocacy, and change.
