She began working as a dog handler at the age of 10 at ClayMar Veterinary Clinic in Shiawasee County. She competed and won in several beauty pageants at an early age and moved up the pageant circuit quickly with dancing and speech as her talents. In her university years she worked her way through college at the MSU library during the school years and grooming dogs in the summers. She began working for IBM as an engineer and moved rapidly up the corporate ladder. In the 1990's Rose turned her business talents to the use of information technologies in healthcare. She pays close attention to new technologies, investing heavily in capital improvements. By keeping costs and prices down she sold a majority of EMR systems in the '90's and soon became the dominant figure in American and the UK and one of the world’s most knowledgeable person in the area of electronic medical records. Rose started one of the nation’s benevolent foundations for veterans, women and children, arguing that technology can help extend the life of all who are suffering. She pioneered in the successful technology areas of electronic document management, electronic medical records and pseudonymization of medical information industries. With this she also founded company leaders and grew her employees to great careers.
